My Story
Hello, my name is Luis Chacón and I am from San Cristóbal, capital city of Estado Táchira, in the southwestern part of Venezuela (-4:30 UTC). However, I now live and work in Campana, Buenos Aires Province, Argentina.
I graduated as Computer Science Engineer at the UNET in 2004. Despite I built my first Web page in 1998, I started to work as a professional Web developer at the beginning of 2005.
I worked in P&C Consultores, C. A. and its international partners Avviato, Inc. and then Caniatech for 5 years. Along this period, I used multiple technologies such as Java, PHP, .NET, ColdFusion among others; I led a development team under Extreme Programming practices and was even a partner on Caniatech
All my previous jobs let me develop an overall understanding on WWW businesses, as well as all the stages involved in the life cycle of Web applications: from analysis to maintenance. My experience is combined with the constant research of new technology trends such as Mobile Application Development and the intensive use of social networks belonging to the Web 2.0.
In 2010, following my "Entrepreneur spirit", I decided to start my own business as a freelancer in the very competitive environment of the Web. Here I am, eager to offer my experience, knowledge and vision; and bring forward services that go after excellence.
However, I was offered several job opportunities ending year 2010, so I took the opportunity given by TecnoAp S. A. to work and study in Argentina.
